Ensemble Responsorium

Ensemble Responsorium is closely specialised in the research and performance of 17th century vocal and instrumental repertoire. Constantly searching for authentic sounds and experiences, the ensemble tryes to revive the Croatian baroque heritage. This musical curiosity resulted in many successful projects such as the first contemporary performances of Gabriello Puliti's collection ”Ghirlanda odorifera cioe mascherate a tre voci (1612) and Tomaso Cecchino's collections ”Amorosi concetti” (1612) and “Canti spirituali” (1613) celebrating their 400 anniversaries. Since 2011 the ensemble has performed regularly in its concert series at the Zagreb Archaeological Museum also collaborating with distinguished soloists and foreign artists. The ensemble has participated at numerous specialised festivals both in Croatia and abroad (Germany, Austria, Denmark, Slovenia, Czech Republic).
